Dear,
The purpose of this email is to update you on the process for IBOs who are internationally sponsored.
Rule 3.3.11/3.3.12 requires an IBO to be an Australian/New Zealand citizen or have a right to work here (eg permanent residency, 12 month work visa or student visa which allows work).
On 1 August 2016 we introduced a policy requiring all IBOs who are internationally sponsored to provide evidence of their citizenship or right to work as part of the IBO application process.
From 1 December 2017, we will no longer require IBOs to provide this evidence such as proof of residency at the time of application.
However, IBOs will still be required to be an Australian/New Zealand citizen or have a right to work here in accordance with Rule 3.3.11/3.3.12.
Amway will conduct spot checks and targeted audits of IBOs who are internationally sponsored. IBOs will need to supply an Australian/New Zealand passport or drivers license or valid visa upon request. If any IBO cannot comply with Rule 3.3.11/3.3.12 their Amway independent business will be terminated.
These changes do not impact IBOs who are establishing a multiple business. The requirements for multiple business applications have not changed.
We trust these changes will improve the process for you whilst ensuring our Business Rules continue to be upheld.
Kind regards,
Your Amway Team
